We The People

This painting is composed of three parts.  Two panels measure 87″x34″.  The middle panel is the current American flag and it measures 30″x22″.  The triptych is framed.  The background is composed of a collage of the original Constitution and the current amendments.  Each of the large panels carries another panel where the flag is painting with encaustic.  There are brass labels indicating when specific flags were in force.
